Sometimes people get it wrong when they talk about the future.
And sometimes they get it VERY wrong.
Steve Ballmer, the former CEO of Microsoft is one of those people who gets it very wrong fairly consistently…
When the first iPhone was released he predicted nobody would ever want a phone without a keyboard…
2.He also dismissed Dropbox as a little startup… said that Google Androids phones would never be successful… and called Amazon wasn’t a real business.
Of course, I am sure himself to sleep crying on his billions every night about this.
The reason I bring it up is to show you that when you have a dream, there are always people who will doubt you – even if you’re Steve Jobs or Jeff Bezos.
And the best thing you can do is to ignore them and keep doing what you need to do to achieve your goals.
And, the best way to move forward to your goals is contained in one word ‘CONSEQUENCES’.
Look to take action on things that have big potential consequences – like finding a great Amazon product.
And putting to the side things that have ‘small potential’ consequence like shopping online for a new gizmo.
Sure it’s nice to get the new ‘Gizmo’ but do the thing that could change your life in a big way first?
Go to go?
Next step watch this ‘fast-start’ class about how to find your first Amazon product – a truly high consequence step you can take today.
